Work at VENN

The work around the restaurant: the patio, the farms, the tools, the public dinners.

Current work

Some of this is already part of dinner. Some of it is still being built.

PATIO

A courtyard behind the restaurant, being reshaped into a small public-facing ecological space. Soil, planting, shade, and observation all sit inside the same frame: what a restaurant can host, not just what it can serve.

PATIO is the umbrella. It gives physical form to work that otherwise stays invisible.

EAT.BITZ kaleidoscope view
LiveInstalled experience

EAT.BITZ

A table-side experience that shows where a dish comes from while you are eating it, not as a report after the fact. Oracle cards, a kaleidoscope viewer, and a digital datascape connect ingredients to the biodiversity behind them.

Developed with Genomic Gastronomy, Bernat Cuní, and Ruben Gres through ST3ER. Live at VENN now.

Built work

Projects and collaborations already in motion.

A revenue-share linked to acorn flour and montado stewardship. One of the clearest ways VENN turns sourcing into a visible commitment.

Pilots and reshaping

Smaller formats still being tested.

PilotFarm model

Restaurant-supported CSA

A small-scale commitment model intended to support regenerative farms more directly. Early-stage and still being shaped.

ReshapingSocial programme

Mesa Aberta

A free-meal programme for people outside the restaurant’s usual reach, currently being reworked after an initial pilot.

Programme and archive

Events happen once. Projects leave something behind.

Events and public programme

Workshops, dinners, and collaborations bring the projects into public view. Some leave a tool, a relationship, a planted bed, or a way of working. Eyes on the Field, Leguminarium, and Deep into the Landscape live in the events archive.

Where PATIO fits

PATIO is not just one card among others. It is the wider frame that holds the physical, digital, and social layers together. That is why it has its own page.
