About the Event

Turkey is home to seven distinct regions, each with its own unique culture, cuisine, music, and traditions. Through this special event, chef Ege Çelebi invites guests to experience the rich culinary diversity of her home country, immersing them in the flavours and stories that define Turkish hospitality.

For this edition, the spotlight is on the Aegean region, one of Turkey’s most picturesque areas and Ege’s birthplace. Guests will enjoy a carefully curated five-course menu showcasing some of the region’s most beloved dishes. Throughout the evening, Ege will share insights into the ingredients, the history behind each dish, and the cultural significance of Aegean cuisine. More than just a meal, this will be a gathering of stories, music, and tradition—a celebration of the essence of Turkish hospitality.

About Ege

Ege Çelebi is a Turkish chef who has been living in Porto for the past seven years. Originally moving to the city to complete a master’s degree in classical music, she spent 16 years as a musician before transitioning to the culinary world. After completing her gastronomy studies, she pursued a professional career as a chef while continuing to explore her passion for music.

Believing that food and music are two of the most powerful ways to connect with a culture, Ege has combined both elements to create immersive dining experiences. Through her events, she introduces Turkish cuisine in a unique way, blending traditional dishes with music and storytelling to offer an authentic and memorable taste of his heritage.
